I am a Senior Wireless Engineer at Comcast, working at the intersection of wireless systems, applied machine learning, and edge/cloud intelligence. My team and I developed an edge/cloud model for Wi-Fi health monitoring and optimal channel/band recommendation. My broader work connects gateway and client telemetry to video-conferencing and streaming quality through measurement-driven modeling and controlled validation.
Previously, I was a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where I worked on intelligent ground-penetrating radar in the USDA-funded SoilX project. Before WPI, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Houston, working on wireless security and robust learning with over-the-air software-defined-radio evaluation.
I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Shiraz University of Technology. My doctoral research developed optimization-based radar imaging from undersampled measurements using low-rank and sparse representations.
My research agenda connects these foundations through physical and agentic AI at the edge: systems that use RF measurements and wireless-health information to interpret their environment, decide what to sense or compute next, and evaluate the effects of their actions.

I have mentored eight graduate and six undergraduate researchers in RF sensing, applied machine learning, signal processing, and wireless communications. My involvement has included project scoping, experimental design, code review, and technical writing.
I have served as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Access, and other journals, and as a judge for WPI’s Graduate Research Innovation Exchange.
